Start of LessonsNo free trial lessons are offered, and there is no obligation to commit to a predetermined number of lessons. The student may discontinue tuition at any time but remains responsible for payment of all lessons delivered by the tutor. 2. CommissionIn most cases (excluding short-term assignments), no commission or matching fee is charged to the student. However, a 50% commission of the first month’s tuition fee is applied to the tutor, which is collected from the student through online payment, bank transfer, cheque, or cash. Postponed lessons during the first four weeks do not impact the commission. For instance, if 1 out of 8 scheduled lessons is cancelled for any reason (e.g., holiday, medical leave), the commission will still be calculated based on 8 lessons, not 7. Payment is required once the tutor has completed 50% of the agreed monthly lesson schedule. 3. Payment ObligationThe student must fulfill their responsibility to make timely payments to TutorLink when utilizing our services. Payments are due within 7 days of receiving the invoice via email or payment SMS. If payment is delayed by more than 30 days, a late fee of $100 per tutor will be applied for every additional 30 days the invoice remains unpaid. Legal action will also be initiated to recover the outstanding amounts, along with any legal costs incurred during the process. 4. TutorLink reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace the Terms and Conditions.
